Accounts Senior Manager

Overview

An established, multi-office accountancy firm in East Anglia is seeking an experienced General Practice Senior Manager to join its leadership team. This is a senior role with responsibility for managing a broad client portfolio, overseeing high-quality compliance delivery, and playing a key role in people management, workflow and client relationships. The firm operates modern systems, specialist teams across Accounts, Audit and Tax, and offers genuine flexibility.

• Wellbeing programmes & flu vaccinations

• Managing a varied portfolio of SMEs, directors, HNW individuals and trustees
• Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and compliance work
• Oversight of corporate tax and VAT
• Reviewing complex areas including consolidations and forecasting
• Acting as a senior client contact and trusted advisor
• Managing WIP, budgets, billing and workflow
• Mentoring and developing Managers and wider team members
• Supporting recruitment, appraisals and staff development
• Working closely with Partners on client and strategic matters

• Confident people manager with a collaborative style
• Commercially minded and client-focused
