Techniche Global are supporting a specialist manufacturer of laboratory equipment with the appointment of a Production Technician to join their manufacturing team in Bury St Edmunds.
- Salary in the region of £26,000 £ 28,000 depending on experience
- Monday Friday, 9:00am 5:30pm (30-minute lunch)
- Full training provided
- Opportunity to join a growing high-tech manufacturing business
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of equipment and components
- Wiring harness connection, crimping and soldering
- Assembly of small tubing and fittings
- In-process inspection and quality checks
- Supporting fault finding and continuous improvement activities
- Managing workload to meet production targets
- Minimum 2 years experience in a production or manufacturing role
- Mechanical assembly experience
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Good organisational skills and willingness to learn
