Are you a hands‑on, reliable individual with strong mechanical skills? We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Technician to join a well‑established and growing engineering manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long‑term role with a company that values quality, safety, and teamwork.

As a Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting valves in line with engineering specifications and quality standards. You will play a key role in ensuring products meet required performance and safety criteria before dispatch.

• Assemble valve components accurately using hand tools, fixtures, and engineering drawings
• Carry out pressure, functional, and leak testing as required
• Inspect components and completed valves to ensure they meet quality standards
• Accurately record build and test data
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment
• Identify and report defects, issues, or opportunities for improvement

• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions
• Good mechanical aptitude with strong hands‑on assembly skills
• Experience using hand tools and basic measuring equipment
• Understanding of quality standards and safe working practices
• High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
• Basic problem‑solving skills

• Highly reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Eager to learn new skills, processes, and product types
• Takes pride in workmanship and product quality
• Works consistently to build targets and standard processes
• Strong focus on health and safety
• Communicates effectively and works well within a team

• Happy to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable with regular movement within the work cell
• Able to carry out repetitive tasks
• Manual handling will be required
