Overview
MET Technician:
Join a prestigious main dealer as an MET Technician, carrying out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles. Work within a professional bodyshop environment to repair safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards, delivering complete customer satisfaction. - Pay / Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 basic
- OTE: £42,000 - £43,000

- Job type:
Permanent / Full-time - Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 6:00pm (flexible hours) - 42.5-hour working week
- Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) repairs on accident-damaged vehicles
- Analyse repair orders and complete work to high quality standards, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Remove, repair and refit vehicle components per manufacturer specifications
- Carry out strip and fit work efficiently with strong attention to detail
- Complete all repair work in accordance with job instructions and bodyshop processes
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed before vehicles are returned to customers
- Obtain authorisation for any additional parts required before fitting
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Ensure equipment operates correctly and report faults promptly
- Comply with BS10125 standards and all Health & Safety procedures
- Proven experience as an MET Technician, ideally with 2-3 years' experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and trim repairs within a bodyshop environment
- The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering repairs to the highest standards
- Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 penalty points
- Right to work in the UK
