Join Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services to provide high quality nursing or paramedic care within the criminal justice system. As a certified professional, you will help some of society's most vulnerable individuals receive the care they deserve.

Collaborate with Police to deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites. Provide round‑the‑clock coverage and work across designated regions in Police Custody Suites and Force areas. Adapt to fixed shift patterns: 06:45‑19:00 day shifts, 18:45‑07:00 night shifts, with a rota pattern of 2 days on, 8 days off (including 2 nights). Part‑time employees must attend some night shifts and may have opportunities for mutually agreed “Bank” contracts.

• Provide clinical, forensic, and broader care to detained individuals.
• Work under pressure and manage diverse clinical situations.
• Maintain patient safety in custody suites.
• Support teamwork and share best practice.
• Adhere to professional standards and policies.

• RN, RGN, or RMN with dual registration; at least 2 years post‑qualification and Band 5 minimum.
• Paramedic with at least 2 years post‑qualification.
• Minimum of two years post‑qualification experience in a patient‑facing clinical setting (A&E, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service).
• Driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK – British passport, ILR, or appropriate status with no gaps abroad >3 months.
• All candidates subject to Police vetting.

• Annual salary £20,500.
• £500 bonus after 12 months of service.
• Estimated overtime £3,500 per annum.
