Car Sales Manager

We are representing a reputable family-run main dealership in Bury St Edmunds, seeking a Car Sales Manager to lead and develop their sales team.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced automotive sales professional ready to take on a leadership role within a well-established business committed to excellence in customer service and sales performance. The successful Car Sales Manager will have the chance to work in a supportive environment, with clear routes for career progression and recognition.

Benefits:

Competitive basic salary of £30,000 with an OTE of approximately £50,000
Working Monday to Saturday with no Sundays
Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional development
Standard weekly hours from 8am to 5.30pm, Saturdays from 8am to 5pm

Duties:

Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed dealership targets as a Car Sales Manager
Manage showroom operations to ensure excellent customer experiences
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Drive sales performance through strategic planning and coaching
Support the training and development of team members
Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and industry standards
Implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue and growth

Requirements:

Proven experience in a senior sales role within the automotive industry, such as Senior Sales Executive or Sales Manager
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Solid track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Knowledge of automotive sales processes and current industry standards
Industry qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential
