Car Sales Manager

Location: Bury St. Edmunds

We are representing a reputable family-run main dealership in Bury St Edmunds, seeking a Car Sales Manager to lead and develop their sales team.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced automotive sales professional ready to take on a leadership role within a well-established business committed to excellence in customer service and sales performance. The successful Car Sales Manager will have the chance to work in a supportive environment, with clear routes for career progression and recognition.

Benefits:

• Competitive basic salary of 30,000 with an OTE of approximately 50,000
• Working Monday to Saturday with no Sundays
• Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional development
• Standard weekly hours from 8am to 5.30pm, Saturdays from 8am to 5pm

Duties:

• Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed dealership targets as a Car Sales Manager
• Manage showroom operations to ensure excellent customer experiences
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
• Drive sales performance through strategic planning and coaching
• Support the training and development of team members
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and industry standards
• Implement effective sales strategies to maximise revenue and growth

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior sales role within the automotive industry, such as Senior Sales Executive or Sales Manager
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Solid track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Knowledge of automotive sales processes and current industry standards
• Industry qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential
