Principal Software Engineer (Contract)

Requirement: 4 days in office, 1 remote (with flexibility).

Contract Duration: 6 months.

Rate: £600 per day (Outside).

Following a recent re‑platforming to the latest cutting‑edge MACH architecture, you will be solving problems at an unprecedented scale, influencing technical standards and architecture at pace.

This is a hands‑on role; you will know what good looks like and help lay the technical foundations, maintain a high engineering bar and drive engineering excellence in product squads.

• Lead on technically excellent incremental designs to deliver value at pace.
• Uphold the highest possible technical standards in our serverless and microservices architecture.
• To obsess about documentation of best practice in Confluence.
• Bring together architecture, product, UX, QA and internal customers.

• Deep expertise of Typescript and Graph
  
  QL.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Serverless, and Containers.
• Experience of AWS Cognito, AWS Config, Git Actions beneficial.
• Design patterns and best practices for an event‑driven architecture.
