- Oversee, coordinate, and schedule construction technicians.
- Read blueprints to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
- Inspect work progress, equipment, and sites to verify safety and meet specifications.
- Locate, measure, and mark site locations and placement of structures and equipment using measuring equipment.
- Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.
- Assign work to crews based on material and/or worker requirements of specific jobs.
- Estimate material and worker requirements to complete jobs.
- Confer with managerial and technical personnel, other departments, and contractors to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
- Order materials and supplies as directed.
- Analyze worker and production problems and recommend solutions such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.
- Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Travel to various work sites as needed to ensure projects are completed as required.
- 5+ years of underground telecommunications construction experience.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote local OSHA and operating safety standards.
- Knowledge of construction trenching, mis‑sliding, placement of duct, CIC, coax, fiber, pedestals, and vaults.
- Ability to safely operate various types of utility vehicles and equipment.
- High energy, motivation, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, shifting from one task to another without interruption.

- Availability to work outside of normal business hours—including overtime, holidays, evenings, weekends, and all seasons.
- Ability to work at noise levels from moderate to loud.
- Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work on an extension ladder (~28 ft high, 75 lb), and climb poles or other structures as needed.
- Travel to various work sites as needed.
- Capacity to complete work outdoors, in tight spaces or elevated conditions (bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and standing up to 70 % of the time, year round).
- Ability to work near moving mechanical parts, electricity, and/or powerlines, with risk of electrical shock, radiation, or vibration.
- Skill in navigating diverse terrains, managing equipment, safety gear, and tools.
- Must provide a valid government‑issued photo ; driver’s license required for driving duties.
- CDL preferred.
- Passing of all pre‑employment screening: MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen.
