General Cardiologist

Providence is hiring a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified General Cardiologist to join the greater dedicated team of fourteen other cardiologists and three cardiothoracic surgeons at the Heart Institute of Montana. Dillon is known for its rich history, beautiful architecture, strong medical community, and some of the friendliest people you will find in the state. This position will be a General Cardiologist providing 4 days a week coverage in ambulatory cardiology clinic located in Dillon, Montana on the campus of Barrett Hospital. The expectations of the position are specific on each campus and may include but are not limited to supervision and interpretation of echo's, stress echo's, and heart rhythm monitors.

Supervision of Device Clinic appointments, and Ambulatory NP and Follow Up cardiology appointments. This position requires the ability to represent the Providence Heart Institute as both a cardiac care provider, and an ambassador for our programs. Providing education to peers in rural communities is essential to the team building aspect of this position. The position will be supported by peers in Missoula and Hamilton.

This position is not a hospital position and does not have call. Although there is an opportunity to support those functions, it is not a requirement.
