Overview
Family Medicine Physician role at Southwest Montana Community Health Center (SWMTCHC).
Responsibilities- Provide clinic-based comprehensive primary care to SWMTCHC patients under the general direction and supervision of the Medical Director and under contract.
- Provide team leadership that promotes a culture of safety, quality, cooperation, advocacy and collaboration.
- Work independently and interdependently with other clinic providers, including primary care, behavioral health, clinical pharmacy and dental providers. Job performance is evaluated through direct observation, consultation, and written documentation.
- Benefit from AI-assisted charting tools and access to Maven for real-time specialist consultations.
- Flexible FTE – at least 20 hours and up to 40 hours per week.
- Exempt position; benefits eligible.
- Full-time or part-time available.
- MD/DO (unrestricted) with board certification in Family Practice Medicine.
- Valid license/DEA in the jurisdiction of the clinic required.
- Two years of experience in practice preferred; experience in a primary care or community health center environment is preferred.
- Experience serving vulnerable patient populations across the lifespan is highly preferred.
