Summary:
Under supervision, performs para-professional work, administering assessment instruments and the development of consumer’s personal support plans. Assist with the development, and documentation of deceleration programs. Possesses skills necessary to work with individuals with aggressive and/or self-abusive behaviors in a responsible caring style. Will be responsible for maintenance of assigned work area. BSW, Inc. operates on the philosophy of Zero Tolerance for Abuse and Neglect and any such occurrence will be reported according to policy.
Will maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving in a professional and courteous manner with consumers, families, guardians, advocates, co-workers and other service providers. Must be able to lift/carry 20/25 pounds or more. Back up driver will transport routes when needed.
Monday through Friday 8a-4p
Wage$17.72 hour +.50 trans. stipend ($18.22/hr total)
