IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst
Technology Delivery Manager (Applications & Systems Delivery)
Open to South Dakota and Montana office locations (Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Great Falls, Helena or Missoula).
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field - or equivalent experience 4+ years of experience leading delivery of enterprise software and systems
- Experience with delivering technology solutions across legacy, SaaS, and cloud-native platforms
- Proficiency in Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) preferred, or familiarity with traditional delivery methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or PMI-ACP preferred, or other comparable project management certifications
- Strong communication, prioritization, and facilitation skills - particularly in complex, cross-functional, matrixed environments
- Proven ability to manage delivery without embedded QA or BA resources, relying on business partnerships for requirements and validation
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate ideas into executable delivery plans

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software application enhancements, integrations, and new implementations across a diverse technology portfolio using a variety of Project Management methods and ensuring technology projects adhere to Enterprise Project Management standards
- Manage intake of work requests from business partners, drive prioritization decisions, and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives
- Oversee team backlogs and work breakdown, ensuring clear requirements and well-defined delivery scope
- Ability to lead a wide portfolio of projects, from complex enterprise-wide projects to tightly focused, operational projects
- Manage relationships with third-party software vendors, including evaluating performance, ensuring contractual compliance, coordinating issue resolution, and aligning vendor deliverables with project timelines and organizational goals
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives for software delivery teams
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine functional requirements and align outcomes with business needs - serving as a delivery partner, not a proxy
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery of technology solutions including:
Legacy on-premises systems, SaaS platforms and Cloud-hosted and hyperscaler-deployed applications (e.g., Azure, AWS) - Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, architectural, and operational standards during all phases of delivery
- Track delivery metrics and release timelines using tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or equivalent project management tools
- Support continuous improvement by tracking and reporting key Agile team throughput metrics - such as velocity, cycle time, and work in progress - month over month
- Provide monthly reporting to Business Technology leadership on Agile team performance, including throughput metrics, backlog health, and delivery progress
- Collaborate with the team's manager to assess team member performance, identify key skillsets, celebrate team successes, and provide input to support the annual performance appraisal process as needed
- Assist in the assessment and comparison of proposed technical solutions for business and operational needs
- Conduct preliminary research on emerging technologies and vendor offerings and provide feedback and input to technology leadership
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and understand how to tailor communication approach to best fit each project's stakeholders
- Foster a culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and Agile thinking with n and across teams
- Act as a coach and leader to help the organization advance its Agile delivery practices

Full-time position.
$83,600 to $125,400 per year, depending on experience.
