Work safely with acids, chemicals, gases, and delicate equipment
Produce accurate and precise analysis in a timely manner
Perform Lead Molybdate Gravimetric Molybdenum Analysis
Complete daily analysis of metals using Atomic Absorption Spectrometers
Weigh and digest Geological and Metallurgical samples
Work early day shift (6:30 AM to 3:00 PM), weekend work in rotation, and occasional extended or additional days when necessary
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications- Able to work safely around chemicals and hotplates in a laboratory setting.
- Strong analytical chemistry skills including experience operating and troubleshooting instruments is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel is required.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and be organized
- Bachelor’s degree in a related Science field such as Chemistry is preferred.
Safety Record, Attitude, Attendance and Work Performance will be considered prior to the interview process.
