Digital Marketing and Recruitment International Academy Students

Buxton FC are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded individual to lead the recruitment and digital marketing of international students for the Buxton FC Academy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing our international recruitment strategy, generating prospective student enquiries from overseas markets and converting those enquiries into applications and enrolments.

• Develop and deliver an international student recruitment strategy for the Buxton FC Academy
• Identify and develop key international markets for student recruitment
• Generate international student enquiries, applications and enrolments
• Plan and manage targeted digital marketing campaigns across international markets
• Use platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Google and other relevant digital channels to generate prospective student leads
• Create engaging digital campaigns showcasing the Buxton FC Academy, football programme, education opportunities and student experience
• Manage international enquiries from initial contact through to application and enrolment
• Build relationships with international schools, football academies, clubs, recruitment agencies and other potential partners
• Develop and manage a network of international recruitment contacts and agents
• Organise online presentations, meetings and recruitment events for prospective international students and their families
• Work closely with Academy staff to provide prospective students and families with clear information about the programme
• Maintain an effective CRM/database of international leads and monitor their progress through the recruitment process
• Monitor marketing performance, cost per lead, applications, conversion rates and student enrolments
• Produce regular reports on international recruitment activity and performance
• Identify new opportunities to grow the Buxton FC Academy brand internationally

The successful candidate should have:

• Previous experience in international student recruitment, international education, digital marketing or a closely related role
• A strong understanding of recruiting students from overseas markets
• Proven experience generating leads through digital marketing campaigns
• Experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads and social media marketing
• An understanding of digital recruitment funnels and converting enquiries into applications and enrolments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence communicating with international students, parents, agents and partner organisations
• Strong relationship-building and business development skills
• The ability to manage multiple international markets and recruitment campaigns
• A target-driven and commercially focused approach
• Strong organisational and reporting skills

Experience with in football academies, professional football, international education or sports-based student recruitment would be particularly advantageous.

Additional languages and an existing network of international education or football contacts would also be beneficial.

We are looking for someone who can combine international recruitment expertise with modern digital marketing skills and take ownership of growing the number of overseas students joining the Buxton FC Academy.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop new markets, generate qualified international leads and build a recruitment pipeline that delivers sustainable growth for the Academy.
