The Role:

Our client has a requirement for Plater Welders for a shutdown on a cement plant in Buxton, Derbyshire for an immediate start for approx 3 weeks. Duties will include:
- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
- Repairing heat distorted steel plate
- Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
- MMA welding on mild steel plate
Essential Requirements:
- CCNSG card
- MP Connect card (or be willing to register)

- Experience of working on large industrial sites (cement, power, refinery, steel)
