Production Operative

Production Operative Needed

Location: Buxton

Pay: £13.25 per hour

Hours: 40 hours a week

We are recruiting on behalf of our well-established manufacturing client in Buxton. This is a hands-on role where you'll with automated assembly machinery helping produce high-quality components. No previous experience with these specific machines is required as full training will be provided.

During initial training you'll be on a permanent day shift, after that you'll move onto a weekly rotating shift pattern.

• Week 1: 6am-2pm Monday to Friday
• Week 2: 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday

• Setting up and operating up to 4 automated assembly machines
• Carrying out tool changeovers for different production runs
• Monitoring machine performance and adjusting where needed
• Completing production records and documenting accurately
• Inspecting finished products
• Keeping work area clean and tidy
• Working to meet production targets within a supportive team environment

• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• Confident working in a fast-paced environment
