NFI North Beacon House has an open position for an Ed Tech III Teacher’s Aide
. This high staff intensive residential program in Buxton, ME serves adolescents ages 13-18 and operates a Special Purpose Private School to meet their educational needs.
Full-time benefit-eligible position operating on a 200-day calendar plus a required extended five-week summer school schedule.
Responsibilities- Provide classroom instructional and behavioral support.
- Assist students with lesson assignments, plan and prepare teaching aids.
- Coordinate instructional efforts with the school team and assist students prepare for the start of the school day.
- Certification as an Ed Tech III (minimum 90 college credit hours).
- Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) certification (training provided).
- At least one year of experience working with youth.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to instruct, assume and delegate responsibilities, and exercise sound judgment.
- Some college or better in Education or related field.
