The Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient Psychiatrist is responsible for the initial and continued assessment of patients and for their treatment. The emphasis in this position is ensuring the existence of an up‑to‑date treatment plan appropriate to the patient’s psychiatric and medical condition and psychosocial background, and making sure that treatment proceeds in an effective manner in accordance with the plan. The role requires delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective health care consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services, and in compliance with government regulation, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
ResponsibilitiesPinnacle Pointe Outpatient offers a wide range of outpatient services across Arkansas for patients as young as age 5, addressing emotional/behavioral health needs for children, teens and adults. The inpatient psychiatrist will work within this framework to provide assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing care, including options for therapy sessions in schools or homes.

- Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
- Licensed to practice in the State of Arkansas
- Minimum of 4 years of training/practice experience
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Arkansas laws governing services to children, adolescents, and adults is preferred
