A Childcare Teacher is to provide a loving and welcoming environment for children and parents while transforming a new generation of children through Christ. The goal of this role is for everyone that utilizes childcare to walk away feeling secure that their child is in the best hands possible. This position is part-time (seasonal/hourly).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to work with children-birth to age 12 years of age
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Must have the ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Must be a member of Fellowship Bible Church or active in a local church
  • Committed to Fellowship Bible Church's mission, values, and beliefs
  • Signed acknowledgement of policies and procedures as stated for the Childcare Ministry
  • Teachers are to submit a Background Check every two years and be responsible for reading and abiding by the Fellowship Bible Church Childcare training manual

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus to care for children. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
