Responsibilities

Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient offers a wide range of outpatient services across the state of Arkansas with service delivery models to fit the various needs of patients as young as age 5. We address a variety of emotional/behavioral health needs for children, teens and adults in a traditional clinic-based setting, but we’re also able to offer support by providing options for therapy sessions in the school or home.

As a part of Pinnacle Pointe Behavioral Health System, we bring over 25 years of experience providing quality care to children and adolescents. At Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient, we bring that same experience and attention when treating our adult population.

The Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient Psychiatrist is responsible for the initial and continued assessment of patients and for their treatment. The emphasis in this position is ensuring the existence of an up-to-date treatment plan appropriate to the patient’s psychiatric and medical condition and psychosocial background and making sure that treatment proceeds in an effective manner in accordance with the treatment plan; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements.

• MD/DO degree from an accredited program
• Board certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Licensed to practice in the State of Arkansas
• Minimum of 4 years of training/practice experience
  
  Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Arkansas laws governing services to children, adolescent and adults preferred.
