Join our orthopedic rehabilitation team as an Outpatient Physical Therapist focusing on pre‑operative conditioning, post‑surgical rehabilitation, and manual therapy techniques to improve function, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life for our patients.
DescriptionAs an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient setting, developing individualized care plans and implementing evidence‑based manual therapy and exercise interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for orthopedic, pre‑operative, and post‑operative patients
- Develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings, physician protocols, and patient goals
- Provide evidence‑based manual therapy interventions including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, myofascial release, and neuromuscular techniques
- Design and implement progressive therapeutic exercise programs focused on strength, mobility, stability, and functional movement
- Educate patients on injury prevention, post‑surgical precautions, home exercise programs, and long‑term wellness strategies
- Communicate effectively with referring physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members
- Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with clinic and payer guidelines
- Maintain a high standard of patient care, professionalism, and ethical practice
- Prehabilitation for orthopedic surgical candidates
- Post‑operative rehabilitation including joint replacement, spine, shoulder, knee, and sports‑related procedures
- Manual therapy‑driven treatment approaches
- Functional movement restoration and return‑to‑activity training

- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
- Outpatient orthopedic experience
- Post‑surgical rehabilitation experience
