Patient Population: Newborns
Setting: Level I Nursery; clinic located adjacent to hospital
Responsibilities: 24-hour call coverage for routine newborn nursery care
Required Procedures: Routine newborn exams
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Clinic with 6 exam rooms
Days Per Month: 10 total (Nov. and Dec. 24 Jan.
2)
On-Call/Weekends: Yes
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified in Pediatrics or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency Required
Clean malpractice and disciplinary history Required
Active Michigan medical license Required at time of submission
NRP & BLS certifications Required
Must be local (drive-in only, no flights) Required
Participation in MI Medicaid/CHAMPS Required
