Munson Healthcare’s Surgical Service Line is seeking to add casual general surgeons to provide call coverage at the following Munson Hospitals:
Gaylord, Grayling, Charlevoix and Cadillac, Michigan. This unique opportunity offers flexibility for those looking for per diem or ancillary work. The physician who provides general surgery hospital call coverage will be reimbursed for food, travel, and all lodging expenses.

• Mileage reimbursement
• Lodging and food reimbursement
• Credentialed at all sites
• Work with a well-established, interdisciplinary team to provide individualized, exceptional care to patients.
• APP support for morning rounding and emergency department consultants is available at select facilities
• Level and scope of APP coverage varies by hospital and shift and is not guaranteed at all locations
• Fast-paced and innovative working environment.
• DaVinci robotic systems are available at select hospitals within the system.
• DaVinci robotic access is facility dependent and may not be available at all locations or during all PRN shifts
• Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Gaylord and Cadillac

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• MI license or eligible for medication licensure in the State of Michigan
• Completion of an approved American College of General Surgeons residency program
