Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive maintenance on robotic systems and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues in industrial robots.
- Repair and replace defective components, sensors, and wiring using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install, calibrate, and program new robotic cells and integrate them into manufacturing processes.
- Conduct robot teach pendant programming for new product lines or process adjustments.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications accurately.
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA) in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and programming PLCs (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and robot controllers.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, including experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and motor controls.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Understanding of industrial safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Experience with advanced robot programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) or specialized vision systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software or robot simulation tools for layout and offline programming.
- Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and data acquisition systems.
- Certifications or advanced training from major robot manufacturers (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
