Key Responsibilities- Analyze production costs, variances, and COGS to identify trends and cost‑saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning specific to manufacturing operations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and performance dashboards, highlighting key manufacturing KPIs.
- Conduct capital expenditure (Cap Ex) analysis for new equipment, facility expansion, and technology investments.
- Perform profitability analysis by product line, region, or customer segment to support strategic decisions.
- Support inventory valuation and analysis, including obsolescence and turnover rates.
- Collaborate with operations teams to understand drivers of financial performance and identify process improvements.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience with cost accounting principles and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial data analysis.
- Ability to interpret operational data and translate it into actionable financial insights.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and their financial implications.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Advanced understanding of cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing environments (e.g., standard costing, variance analysis).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for presenting complex financial and operational data.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
