Munson Healthcare is building two new Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Cadillac and Gaylord to serve our patients and provide the best care in Northern Michigan. This will be a joint venture partnership with our physician partners. The beautiful ASC will open in January.
Your Responsibilities- Train and onboard new clinical staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee clinical personnel management, including recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and retention.
- Utilize working knowledge of nursing techniques, medical equipment, healthcare documentation systems, and clinical workflows.
- Manage daily operations of the pre‑operative, operating room, and post‑operative areas, including staffing and process oversight.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a related degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of management experience in an ambulatory surgery center or surgical services within an acute care hospital.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial competence.
- Current BCLS certification required.
- ACLS and PALS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
