• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan
• 2 years of recent and consecutive experience in a specialty area
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification
• For Critical Care Department positions:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NIH) Certification
• For Emergency Department positions:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NIH) Certification
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
• For NICU and Maternity Department positions:
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
• For Long Term Care, Home Health and Behavioral Health Department positions:
  • Fingerprinting Clearance

Munson Healthcare requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab‑confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
