Direct Care Position – Pearl Street Home – Cadillac (Residential Care Aide)

Located in Cadillac

Starting wage: $17.13 per hour

Full‑time and part‑time positions available.

Paid training, PTO, benefits, holiday pay.

The Northern Lakes Community Mental Health Authority (NLCMHA) is a 300‑employee organization serving people who live with intellectual/developmental disabilities, serious mental illness, and substance use disorders from six counties in Michigan. Among many community mental health services, NLCMHA directly operates six licensed specialized residential homes and a small group of supervised independent living apartments using a team of up to seventy full‑time and part‑time employees.

• Implement Person Centered Planning
• Provide personal care
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Administer medication
• Prepare meals
• Clean and sanitize living areas
• Transport residents as needed
• Enter data electronically

• At least 18 years old
• Michigan driver’s license (unrestricted)
• High school diploma or GED
• Pass a physical exam (including lift test)
• Pass a criminal background check
• Negative TB test
