Training will take place in Traverse City and Cadillac Sleep Labs; the candidate must be willing and able to travel between both locations for varied shifts and times.

• Selected candidates will be offered a position as an Unregistered Sleep Tech in a full time 16/40-hour flexible schedule on rotating shifts (first, second, third) and will become actively enrolled in the AAMA A-Step Module program.
• The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AAMA) A-Step program is an online program and will be funded through Munson Healthcare Tuition Reimbursement Program.
• A-Steps online learning modules will be paired with hands‑on training under the direct supervision of a Board‑Certified Sleep Technologist or Sleep Disorders Provider.
• Training will take place in Traverse City and Cadillac Sleep Labs; the candidate must be willing and able to travel between both locations for varied shifts and times.
• At the end of the program, the employee will be eligible to sit for a credentialing exam to become a Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT, BRPT or RST) and will agree to work as a Registered Sleep Technologist for Munson Healthcare for a two-year period.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Preference will be given to candidates with 2 or more years of healthcare experience.

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
