The role is responsible for demonstrating competence in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, sterile storage, and case cart assembly.

• Consistentlydemonstratesall requirements ofCPD TechII
• Maintain certification as a Technician in Sterile Processing from either
  
  CBSPD or HSPA
• Holds an additionalcertificationfrom one of the accrediting bodiesin one of the following:scope processing,CST, instrument certification
• Minimum three (3) years of related experience

• Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of Munson Healthcare.
• Monitors the quality and quantity of workflow to ensure work is completed. Champion for process improvement initiatives.
• Able to work independently doing special projects and a super user and designated trainer/preceptor on multiple pieces ofCPD equipment and/or applications such as instrument tracking software.
• In the absence of a team leader and/or supervisor, may be responsible for functioning in a lead role.
• Embraces, communicates,and participates in ensuring departmental compliance with AAMI standards and The Joint Commission readiness.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
