Salary Range: $39,000 - $62,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products against specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product dimensions and characteristics.
- Document inspection results accurately, maintaining comprehensive quality records and generating inspection reports.
- Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures.
- Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and provide support for production line quality checks.
- Perform calibration and maintenance checks on inspection equipment and tools to ensure accuracy.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate's degree in a technical field preferred. - 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints.
- Familiarity with quality principles such as SPC, root cause analysis, and non-conformance reporting.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Bonus Qualifications
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Quality Inspector (CQIA)
- Proficiency in CMM programming or advanced metrology software
- Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
- Experience conducting internal quality audits
- Advanced proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) software
