Salary Range: $39,000 - $62,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products against specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product dimensions and characteristics.
• Document inspection results accurately, maintaining comprehensive quality records and generating inspection reports.
• Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures.
• Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and provide support for production line quality checks.
• Perform calibration and maintenance checks on inspection equipment and tools to ensure accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Familiarity with quality principles such as SPC, root cause analysis, and non-conformance reporting.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Quality Inspector (CQIA)
• Proficiency in CMM programming or advanced metrology software
• Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
• Experience conducting internal quality audits
• Advanced proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) software
