Job OverviewWe are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and well‑motivated individual to join the Therapy Services Booking Centre. The role requires a committed, motivated, organised and proactive individual who can work as part of a team, communicate effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
The role requires experience in an administrative environment, computer literacy, and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Knowledge of the Health Board’s IT systems, including WelshPAS, is desirable.
Duties- Waiting list management and patient‑focused booking for the departments of Weight Management, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy and Symptom Management Service in accordance with Welsh Guidance (WG) guidelines.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable;

- Good standard of education at least to GCSE, NVQ or equivalent level.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Previous clerical experience and knowledge of administration processes.
- Experience dealing with the general public.
- Detailed knowledge of Myrddin & CWS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of WG guidelines related to waiting times.
- Understanding of Health Board policies and procedures including HR.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Polite and professional telephone manner.
- Empathy, tact and diplomacy when dealing with difficult situations.
- Flexible approach to the needs of the service.
- Ability to work and problem‑solve under pressure whilst achieving targets.
- Commitment to achieving high‑quality standards of work.
- Accurate and methodical in all aspects of work.
- Remain professional at all times.
- Ability to develop good and effective employee relations.
- Welsh language skills (desirable).
- Flexible approach to the needs of the service.
- Demonstrate a commitment to achieving high‑quality standards of work.
