Why join us?

This is your chance to play a visible and influential role across one of the UK’s most diverse hospitality and events environments. You’ll partner with leaders across hotels, restaurants, event spaces and large‑scale public venues, helping teams deliver unforgettable guest experiences safely and confidently.
You’ll enjoy real ownership, clear boundaries, the support of an experienced Head of Health, Safety & Compliance, and the freedom to drive practical improvements that truly make a difference.

  • Operational & Fire Safety Management
Conducting inspections, checks and reviews across multiple properties
Ensuring timely completion of remedial actions
Maintaining safe systems of work across plant, equipment, fire safety, water hygiene and more
  • Incident & Case Management
Investigating significant incidents, near misses and complaints
Producing root cause analysis and targeted improvement plans
Supporting reporting requirements and regulatory notifications
  • Culture, Training & Engagement
Promoting a positive, proactive safety culture
Supporting the design and delivery of safety training
Leading drills, exercises and scenario‑based learning
  • Contractor & Supplier Control
Reviewing RAMS, managing permits to work, and ensuring safe site operations
  • Event & Emergency Preparedness
Helping plan and oversee safety for major events at ICC Wales and across The Collection
Maintaining clear, current and effective emergency procedures
What we’re looking for
  • Essential
A Level 3 qualification in Health & Safety (and willingness to progress to Level 5 if not already held)
Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation, fire safety and related compliance areas
Experience conducting audits, investigations and safety inspections
Excellent communication, reporting and organisational skills
A calm, pragmatic approach with outstanding attention to detail
  • Desirable
Experience in hospitality or multi‑site environments
Ability to train, coach and influence at all levels
Membership of a recognised professional body
Where you’ll be based

This is a multi‑site role across The Celtic Collection and ICC Wales.
You will spend a minimum of two days per week onsite at ICC Wales, with flexibility to visit other properties as needed.
