Main Duties and Responsibilities Childcare and Learning

• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged [insert age range if known].
• Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to learning journals and next steps.
• Promote children's emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development.
• Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families.

• Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of children at all times.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures and report any concerns in line with statutory guidance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
• Adhere to all nursery policies, including health and safety, food hygiene, and infection control.

• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrate professionalism and act as a positive role model for children and colleagues.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
• Support inclusive practice and promote equality and diversity within the nursery.

CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)
