We are looking for a skilled and motivated Systems Business Administrator to manage our business systems, support end-users and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
The post holder will work as part of the Divisional Business Team providing administrative support to the operational delivery of Estates and Facilities services.
The purpose of the catering system and database is to maintain a comprehensive database of all provisions, contracted suppliers and current prices, costing and allergen information, standard recipes and daily menus for patients and retail outlets.
The post holder will have responsibility for price adjustments, back office reports, bar coding, cash register training and VAT. There may be a need to occasionally attend at weekends and after core hours for technology uploads and similar system changes.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder's day to day responsibilities will include placing Oracle orders, receipting delivery of orders, and day to day responsibilities for the Central Information Technology Software System for catering.
They will be responsible for monitoring a generic email box which will include processing orders and receipting, liaising with suppliers, responding and actioning any queries/issues or complaints.
They will work closely with the Catering Liaison Dietician to update patient menus, create & amend allergen files by sourcing and reviewing individual ingredients. Responsibility for maintenance and updating/ changes of menus /allergen/ patient feeding costs of Patient Bedside Meal ordering system.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;

Person Specification Qualifications and knowledge- Education to GCSE level
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent demonstrable knowledge and experience
- Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office 365
- Experience or intermediate knowledge in various aspects of the catering operation including food safety, stock control, patient bedside ordering
- In-depth knowledge of Epos systems
- Knowledge of All Wales Nutrition and Catering Standards for Food and Fluid
- Knowledge of Procurement Processes
- ECDL
- Previous administrative or business experience. Intermediate levels of experience of EPOS system(s) required to fulfil the post
- Intermediate levels of experience in allergen awareness and dietary requirements
- Advanced keyboard skills and high levels of accuracy to be highly effective in the use multiple IT systems
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
