Working Hours
8:30am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday (Term time only, unless otherwise stated)
Contract TypePart‑time
Key Responsibilities- Opening, securing, and general supervision of the school premises during working hours
- Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Monitoring health and safety across the site, reporting hazards or defects
- Setting up rooms and areas for lessons, meetings, or events as required
- Undertaking basic cleaning and site tidiness duties as needed
- Receiving and handling deliveries
- Liaising with school staff and external contractors
- Supporting emergency procedures where necessary (e.g. fire alarms, evacuations)
- Transporting equipment or materials between sites when required
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or site support role (or similar)
- Practical DIY and basic maintenance skills
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
- Good communication skills
