Due to the awarding of new frameworks and continued project work, our client, a well known and leading civil engineering and construction company is seeking to employ 2 Site Engineers (one being senior) to be based in North Wales, initially working on 2 x large railway footbridge schemes.
We are seeking engineers that are ideally degree/HND qualified and that have previous experience of working on civil engineering schemes, ideally with some of that experience being within the rail industry.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on-site SHEQ compliance and promote a culture of safety
- Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Carry out accurate setting out and surveying
- Oversee engineering activities to ensure systematic, high?quality delivery
- Supervise site operations including direct labour, plant, and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate site records and daily diaries
- Manage material take?offs and procurement
- Plan and coordinate weekday and possession?based weekend/night works
- Support the production and review of ITPs, WPPs, Task Briefs and other documentation
- Provide day?to?day support and leadership to subcontractors and junior engineers
