Company Overview

A global leader in environmental services, specialising in ecological transformation through water, waste, and energy management, our esteemed client is currently seeking to recruit a Waste Operative to join their growing team.

Role Overview

To safely carry out operations as prescribed under the company working procedures to effectively collect, process, sort and generally manage the customers waste in accordance with the customers (GSK) own guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and empty waste bins from across the site
Sort and segregate waste into the correct waste streams and appropriate containers
Operate forklift trucks safely for loading and unloading vehicles
Operate compactors and baling machines
Maintain health, safety and environmental standards
Ensure compliance with waste management regulations

Job Requirements

Current driving licence
Ability to work on own and use own initiative

Working Hours

Monday – Friday 06:00AM – 02:00pm (7.5 hours per day) with a half-hour unpaid break. Flexible start and finish times possible.

Pay

Salary: GBP
13.45 per hour.

Start Date

Temporary, ASAP start until 31 August 2026.
