Senior Accountant – Accountancy Practice

An established and growing accountancy practice is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team.

UK accountancy practice experience is essential for this role. You must have previous experience working within practice and managing a portfolio of external clients.

The Role
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, taking responsibility for:
 
Statutory accounts and corporation tax
Personal tax and VAT
Management accounts and financial analysis
Client meetings and relationship management
Reviewing work and supporting junior team members
Identifying opportunities to add value and provide commercial advice  About You  
3+ years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice – essential
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience
Experience managing your own client portfolio
Strong knowledge of accounts, tax and VAT
Confident dealing directly with clients
Commercially minded, organised and able to work to deadlines
Comfortable reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues  

Experience with Xero, Dext, Tax Calc and FYI would be advantageous.
