Location

The practice is based in rural Ceredigion on the West Wales coast, in one of the most scenic parts of the country. Aberystwyth is approximately 20 minutes away, Cardigan around 30 minutes, and Lampeter approximately 25 minutes. This area attracts GPs looking for an exceptional work‑life balance alongside strong clinical work.

The Practice
  • GP Training Practice, well established and actively developing its training capacity
  • 100% QAIF rating for the past several years – consistently outstanding quality performance
  • Purpose‑built practice – modern, well‑equipped facilities designed for primary care
  • Rich multidisciplinary team including ANPs, paramedics, and a clinical pharmacist, taking significant clinical load off the GP

Your Role
  • 4 to 8 sessions per week – flexible working pattern
  • Circa 25‑30 patient contacts per day, with 15‑minute face‑to‑face appointments
  • Minimal home visits
  • Working day typically finishes by 5.30 to 6pm
  • Generous study leave and CPD support
  • You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List
Salary and Benefits
  • Circa £10,500 – £11,500 per session
  • NHS Pension
