Job Overview

The Vetro Education Team are looking to speak to an experienced Primary School Teacher (preferably a Foundation Phase Specialist) to work with a number of schools in the Caerphilly LEA on an ad hoc basis. This is the ideal role for someone who wants to continue working within Education but with more flexibility to help even the work/life balance.

• Teaching a variety of subjects according to the curriculum
• Marking and assessment
• Leading and assisting a class in the Foundation Phase
• Monitoring the development of individual students
• Assessing skills and knowledge through tests and assignments
• Communicating with parents, the LEA and administrative staff
• Contributing to school events

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) is essential for working at an LEA school
• Current DBS certificate and registration with the EWC
• Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP) or School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) as routes to QTS
