The School and Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide high-quality learning support, helping pupils reach their full potential in a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons, resources, and displays.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
Monitor and record pupils’ progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Help maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment.
Promote inclusion and support the emotional and social development of pupils.
Supervise pupils during breaks, lunchtimes, and on school trips as required.
Requirements

The desired  Teaching Assistant will have.

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification OR CACHE Qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
