Maths Teacher (INDMAN) Caerphilly, Wales

Location: Caerphilly, Wales

Start Date: Immediate start to July 2026 (possible extension into next academic year or could become permanent for the right Maths Teacher.)

Contract Type: Full-time contract, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:10pm.

Pay: £172.98 to £200 per day (depending on experience.)

A welcoming and forward‑thinking secondary school in Caerphilly is seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of Maths to join their team with an immediate start on a full‑time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire curiosity and a love of Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, within a supportive and well‑resourced department.

ECTs/NQTs and experienced teachers are warmly encouraged to apply.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high‑quality Maths lessons across the curriculum, supporting pupils to develop a strong understanding of the subject. You will play a key role in raising attainment, promoting mathematical thinking, and encouraging a sense of curiosity and discovery in learners of all abilities.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Ability to teach Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge
• Enthusiasm and passion for Maths education
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Strong commitment to pupil progress and achievement
• Experience teaching GCSE & A Level Maths
• ECT/NQT applications welcomed
• Understanding of the Curriculum for Wales
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Two professional references
