Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School based in the Vale of Glamorgan, who are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school just outside of Cardiff.

This is a long-term opportunity supporting pupils within a mixed-age SRB (Specialist Resource Base). The school is looking to take on a passionate Learning Support Assistant on a long-term basis, leading to a permanent position for the right Learning Support Assistant/LSA. The successful applicant will be working in the SRB and supporting children across both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2.

The Senior Leadership Team are dedicated to ensure the successful Learning Support Assistant will be supported and developed from day one.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant
• Confidence supporting children across a range of ages
• Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs (ALN)
• Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive school team
