Job Description

Education Supply Pool, a PAYE employer, is looking for a Secondary Teacher for a range of comprehensive schools in Newport and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who is eager to work with young people.

• Teach lessons and support secondary students.
• Set high classroom standards.
• Deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline.
• Plan innovative and creative lessons.
• Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE or a BA in Education.
• Experience teaching within the UK.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.

• Minimum pay rate of Secondary School Teachers is at least M1 (currently £173.00 per day on approval to the new framework).
• A variety of daily, short-term, and long-term positions to suit your needs.
• A team with over twenty years’ experience in both local and national education agencies.
• A dedicated account manager with a background in teaching.
• A £125 recommend a friend scheme (T&C’s apply).
• Pay via PAYE direct through Education Supply Pool, not an umbrella company.

We are a preferred supplier on the Welsh Government’s National Teacher Framework offering day-to-day and long-term positions throughout the school year. All candidates who register with Education Supply Pool will undergo a vetting process which includes obtaining two satisfactory relevant references and an enhanced DBS check; all offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
