Position: Two-School HLTA: Plan & Inspire Across Campuses

We are seeking to appoint TWO HLTA's to work across our federation.

Positions

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA); across both schools

Hours:

  • Full time – 5 days a week.
  • Part time - 1 day a week.

Fixed term – but with the potential to offer flexibility to continue beyond the initial period for the right candidate.

Pay Range: G6

Both schools were judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2024 and the governors and Headteacher are looking for a HLTA to help us on our journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Contribute to students' holistic development and well-being.
Requirements
  • Hold a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification or have equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be patient, adaptable, and an effective team player.
  • Previous experience as an HLTA or in a similar role is advantageous.
Additional Responsibilities

Cover all classes across the school and be allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time to support the school's educational objectives.

Fluency Duty

In accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 (Fluency Duty), the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
