Position: Secondary Teaching Assistants Wanted

Are you a motivated and adaptable Teaching Assistant with experience supporting behaviour and ASD? We are currently seeking reliable Secondary Teaching Assistants to work across Caerphilly secondary schools, supporting pupils on both short-term and long-term assignments.

Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, particularly supporting students with ASD and behavioural needs
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive engagement
  • Support students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Assist in creating a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience working with young people, ideally within schools or SEN/ALN settings
  • Proven experience supporting behaviour and/or ASD
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A proactive, adaptable, and professional attitude
  • Ability to travel to Caerphilly schools
  • A genuine passion for supporting students and making a difference
