NQT Maths Teacher

The Headteacher is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic NQT / ECT Maths Teacher on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. This role is ideal for early career teachers eager to develop valuable experience in a mainstream setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Support pupils with GCSE Maths examination preparation
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
Implement the school’s schemes of learning effectively
Develop strong classroom and behaviour management skills, supported by experienced colleagues

Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Maths
NQTs and ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
Experience teaching Maths during training placements or previous roles
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching
A genuine passion for supporting pupil progress and achievement
