2) - Fenton CP School

Salary:
Grade 4 - £25,989 - £26,403 pro rata. Grade 4 - £25,989 for 25 hours per week term time only for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £15,424.90 pro rata.

We are looking for a capable Level 2 Learning Support Assistant to work within our Learning Resource Centre for a maternity cover. You will be working with children with additional learning needs.

At Fenton Community School we are passionate about providing the highest quality care for all our children in a fun, stimulating and caring environment. The role will be to support children with complex needs both in the classroom, further develop communication skills and to support with the implementation of targets from their individual development Plans.

Responsibilities
  • To contribute to the planning and implementation of appropriate programmes of activity for the children in collaboration with the class teacher.
  • To assist in the provision of an attractive and stimulating range of equipment, activities and displays, indoors and out, relevant to the ages and needs of the children, which encourage independence, self-motivation and eagerness to learn.
  • To assist in the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds and stages of development.
  • To share the responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
  • To demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • To have an understanding of early childhood development and a passion for working with children.

Welsh language skills are desirable.
